Colleen Webb graduated from University of Dayton with a double major in English and Spanish. She studied and lived in Toledo, Spain, for a semester where she also tutored a Spanish child in English. Colleen served a year in Americorps*VISTA in California where she developed and coordinated an after-school program for at-risk high school students. She has lived in Arizona as a yoga instructor and hike leader, and currently resides in Chicago where she is pursuing a master's degree in secondary Spanish education from DePaul University and playing her guitar for anyone who will listen.
Colleen has a passion for all things VISIONS: service, smiles, travel, language, culture, adventure, and lovely people who come together to achieve great things. She has traveled to many places both in and outside of the United States and is always planning her next excursion. While on the VISIONS 2007 Costa Rica staff team last summer, Colleen made connections with participants, staff members and Ticos that will last forever. Colleen can't thank VISIONS enough for all of the opportunities it provides. Colleen is ready to get back to Costa Rica to reunite with some great amigos and to taste the pineapples and coffee again!
